William S. Kress

William S. Kress’s practice focuses on estate planning and probate, business transactions and litigation, real estate matters, and landlord-tenant disputes. His background in accounting provides a valuable foundation for advising clients on a variety of business and financial matters.

Mr. Kress earned his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law, graduating in the top 15% of his class with an emphasis in Business Law. During law school, Mr. Kress worked in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, where he gained practical experience representing clients in federal tax disputes, including proceedings before the United States Tax Court.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Kress graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He gained experience in public accounting through an internship with KPMG and worked as a staff accountant at Rudd & Company before pursuing his legal career.

A fifth-generation Idahoan, Mr. Kress is proud of his Idaho roots. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, playing basketball, hunting, spending time outdoors, and traveling with his wife.
