The COVID-19 (“Coronavirus”) pandemic and various governmental orders have led tenants and landlords alike to wonder about their rights. There currently are no restrictions from the State of Idaho on evictions. However, effective on March 27, 2020, the federal CARES Act has put a 120 day moratorium on new eviction filings on housing that receive federal funding or have federally backed mortgages.
