Ms. Kirk earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2014, during which she served as an Associate Editor in Chief for the Pacific Rim Law and Policy Journal and externed for the Honorable Judge Marlin J. Applewick (WA State Court of Appeal, Div. I). After law school, she worked for a couple of years with a personal injury litigation firm (2014-2016) where she helped clients achieve just compensation, including a $40 million jury award. In 2016, Ms. Kirk became an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Washington, representing state agencies in civil proceedings. She specialized in dependency, adoption, and guardianship work. She is licensed to practice law in both Idaho and Washington State.
Prior to law school, Ms. Kirk attended Seattle University, where she graduated magna cum laude with B.A. in Political Science, specializing in Legal Studies and University Honors.
Ms. Kirk was born and raised in rural Central Washington, making Idaho Falls feel like home. She is married to Dr. Isaac Ginsberg, who practices medicine locally. To relax, Ms. Kirk enjoys playing piano, hiking in the great outdoors, and hiding from the great outdoors with a good book.
